PBB Update: Zeke gets booted out of Big Brother’s House
Sweet until the end, Cebu’s Dionne Monsanto held hands with "Australian Hottie" Ezekiel Dimaguila before the announcement that ‘Zeke’ will be the second evicted housemate in Big Brother’s house.
In a tightly contested vote, Zeke received the lowest text votes at 15.67%, while Dionne was close at 15.98%. The couple, who were ‘too intimate’ while together in numerous occasions, hugged before saying farewell to each other.
During the nomination night, Zeke obtained 13 votes from his housemates. He was criticized for being ‘ungentleman-like’ because of his poor treatment to women housemates.
Last week, Big Brother ordered Wendy Valdez, Beatriz Saw, and Gee-ann Abrahan to dress-up Zeke like a Filipina so that he would take a crash course about the Filipino culture. The girls not only dressed Zeke with a wig and traditional Filipina attire, they also instructed the Aussie to walk slowly, speak in a low voice, and cover his mouth with a fan.
Zeke successfully pulled off the "Imelda" image as he was able to differentiate how women are treated in the Philippines and "Down-Under". After the task, Wendy and Zeke became friends again after being at odds with each other.
But despite Zeke’s transformation, it seemed that the public already had in mind on who to save. 30.76% of the public voted to save the eccentric "Cheering Chick" Gee-ann who gives life to her doll Pamela. Beatriz was the second highest vote getter at 20.16% after she showed compassion and care for her housemates who are suffering from a mysterious disease. "Hot commercial babe" Wendy is the third person to be saved by the public, receiving 17.43% of the text votes.
Nosebleeds and a P10,000 bonus
The housemates meantime were successful in completing the tasks by Big Brother which included a P10,400 bonus for accomplishing the "Water Mill, or No Mill?" challenge. The other task was finishing making 1,500 palm fronds that will be used for tomorrow’s Palm Sunday celebration.
Meantime, the mission of four housemates to make others believe they have contracted a disease intensified after Big Brother provided props that would let them have nosebleeds.
The 'sickness' however was almost spoiled on Friday when one of the nine healthy "Pinoy Big Brother" Season 2 residents smelled something fishy.
Maricris Dizon of Italy suspected that Austrian-born Michael Richard "Mickey" Perz was just acting when he complained of being sick.
Maricris could not help but ask Mickey if he was only pretending to be ill. Mickey tried his best to defend himself and even shed a tear as he recounted his brother's own experience with rashes.
Robert James Woods II of England was the first to be tasked by Big Brother to convince his fellow housemates that he had contracted a skin allergy from their pet dog Buddy.
However, unknown to Robert, Big Brother also gave the same mission to Mickey, Gee-Ann, and Wendy of Navotas.
Kian Kazemi, meanwhile, was in pain from a real injury he sustained during Saturday's challenge that won him an exemption from eviction.
Kian, the so-called Prodigal Son from Makati, found it difficult to walk prompting Big Brother to call a doctor to examine the 20-year-old housemate. In the end, Kian was advised to use a wheelchair until his strain is gone.
He was ordered to remain in his wheelchair and help Bruce Angelo Quebral of Cainta to make the palaspas.
