Catch That Bird!

It’s only four more days to go before Jason and Elvie tie the knot. For now they can simply enjoy their beauty rest and let the housemates get the headaches that come with being wedding planners! They have been doing related errands since yesterday and so far they have been successful with their endeavors. Taking precedence in their checklist were the wedding clothes and cake which they easily obtained. A more challenging activity awaited them this evening as they labored for the secondary wedding essentials.
Freeing two white doves has been an age-old tradition in Filipino weddings. However, the flock of birds that the housemates captured was not just for that. (And besides they were too many to count for one wedding!) These birds carried the items on their list which they need to get for the wedding rites and the reception that follows! Among the fifty birds at large, they have to trap around thirty of those whose feet has an attached piece of paper where each of the favors and accessories where written!
Two facts served as impediments to their quick success: Buddy was running after the birds and the girls’ loud shrieks further scared them away! The showbiz child and Mr. Perfect tried their best to threaten the poor creatures as if this could make them fly down from their place of honor. Hence, Big Brother advised, “Housemates, hindi bababa ang kalapating yan kung hindi kayo gagawa ng paraan.” When entrapping did not work, they resorted to nastier means like hurling their slippers at the doves. For this, they were warned to be more careful in handling them.
Fortunately, the boys eventually got the hang of using their trap particularly Nel who always caught their targets. Gee-Ann and Bodie checked the items they got and here are some of them: wedding cake server, spoons, motif linen for decorations, wine chord, ring pillows, wedding bells, motif table napkins, plates, forks, autograph ring, wedding tiara, wedding bouquet, wedding banner, wedding guest book, table, knives, flowers for decorations, candles, place card holders, toasting glasses, wedding garter, bikini wax (huwaaaat?!), red carpet and more importantly, the entourage’s gowns and barongs.Winning in this round is out of the question. The doves may have found various hiding places in the activity area but the housemates were sharper and stronger! Let’s just hope that the shaken birds won’t have a lasting “trauma” because of this. What’s next in the wedding planners’ checklist?

War of the Roses

The tension this morning was already hot like it was noon. After being forbidden from sleeping in the boys' bedroom, Wendy woke up in the girls' bedroom in a bad mood. While preparing food in the kitchen, Wendy told the other housemates that she believes that her fight with Gee-Ann and Bea will not be resolved inside the house. The Commercial Babe still refused to talk to the two girls because she still questions their actions and intentions. Wendy suspected that the only reason that the two girls might talk and make peace with her is for them to clean up their images to win the viewers' heart and eventually both land in the Big Four. Wendy believes that Gee-Ann and Bea are both playing the game.
After lunch, Gee-Ann had a chance to talk with Bruce to ask the best time that she can approach Wendy. Bruce told Gee-Ann that Wendy was still feeling hurt. Gee-Ann, on the other hand, tried to convince Bruce that it was never her intention to ruin other people's images just for sake of money and fame. "Kung gusto kong sumikat e di sana nag Star Circle na lang ako. Kung gusto ko ng pera e di sana nag Wowowee na lang ako. Pumila ako ng pagkahaba-haba buong araw kaysa ganito makipagplastikan ako ng four months." The Hardcourt Hunk, however, said that he was not sure when will Wendy open herself up for a talk, but it would be a big thing if the Cheering Chick would give it a try.

Later on, it was Bea who took the opportunity to approach Wendy in the living room. However, the Commercial Babe still stood by her decision to keep her distance for the meantime. Wendy felt that it was not yet the right time for them to force a reconciliation, which Bea respected. Wendy also confessed that it may be difficult for the issue to be resolved inside the house, that PBB as a show may only complicate things. Wendy, nevertheless, thinks that when they all leave PBB, they may all feel better for talk. For how long will Wendy hold the grudge in her heart? Are we going to see Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 end on a bad note?

Move A Little Closer

Right after the girls, the boys get their chance to rehearse their song and dance number. Mickey teaches the other boys the dance steps he created to the tune of Accidentally In Love. It's good that that they have familiarized themselves with the song. The real challenge now, however, is doing the dance perfectly. Let's just wait how these boys will fair with their grooves.

Dreamgirls?

The girls, for the meantime, hold down their hatchets so they can work together for a task. Wendy, Gee-Ann, and Bea practice their song and dance number for Jason and Elvie, to the tune of Wishin' and Hopin' by Dusty Springfield. Wendy, who has the vocal talent, takes the lead, while Gee-Ann and Bea choreograph the song. From time to time, Gee-Ann would ask Wendy for suggestion for thei dance, and Wendy would gladly share her ideas. Let's just hope this task will mend all their emotional wounds?

What Happens Now?

Last Sunday's incident posed a big surprise to all the housemates. Just when they thought a regular nomination will occur, Kuya just asked them who they think doesn't deserve to be the Big Winner. Now, Gee-Ann and Bodie are both clueless on what's to come on the Big Night. The two PBB fanatics share their respective theories on how the Big Four will be chosen. Who will get evicted next? How will the evictions go? They look back on previous seasons to spot a recurring trend, but in the end, the Cheering Chick and her Piolo remain in the dark from Big Brother's plans

This sessions with Ms. Connie Reyes where the housemates get to share more of their personal lives in a different perspective. The housemates become more open and Connie Reyes gives them advises. It brings them closer to God and helps them through inculcation of values. They should share more of these in Primetime episodes because it digs deeper into the housemates' backgrounds. PBB2 Updates : Balik-Bahay HMs' punishment and the new bathroom

The first clip is that of Balik-Bahay Housemates being punsished with a domino task while their hands and feet are tied together. If I'm not mistaken, the punishment was for their failure to finish the rope task. I also uploaded 3 videos of the new PBB bathroom for selected housemates. PBB2 Updates : "Wow! Heartthrob!"

PBB's hot commercial babe is not the only heartthrob among the girl-HMs. With her lovely looks and sweet qualities, the cheering chick has acquired her own share of admirers inside Big Brother’s House!

DJ Laila from Kapamilya’s 101.9 For Life FM radio station had an exclusive interview with Kian, Zeke,Wendy and Jasmin. Armed with her riveting questions, the four balik-bahay housemates were sizzling in the hot seat!


It was Kian who first caught her inquisitive onslaught. He was reportedly heard saying in one of the talk shows he graced, “I left my heart inside the house.” When he was asked who he was really referring to, he simply exclaimed that he misses all the HMs. But after a few nudges, he finally uttered G-ann’s name. Aside from being a friendly housemate, he claims that her knack for being funny yet intelligent at the same time is the reason why she’s girlfriend material for him. He’s really looking forward to meet her after their PBB stint and have a chance to court her then.


In this portion, it was revealed that Zeke has a talent for dancing as well. If he turns out to be one of the chosen ones this Saturday night, perhaps Big Brother would let him take the spotlight and perform a dance number. Right now, he had to make do with his personal task. Big Brother asked him to create a Zeke-tionary containing all the new words he had learned.


But of course, he did not escape DJ Laila’s curiosity about Dionne, whom he hasn’t seen yet. But a more surprising disclosure was made by him no less! Among all the housemates, he claimed that he missed the cheering chick the most. “Although sobrang passive si G-ann… Talagang unique si Gee-ann.” And to Kian, “May the best man win nalang!”


The third interviewee was Wendy. She simply clarified that she’s now free to enter a new romantic relationship. With her surprising eviction almost two weeks ago came an opportunity to end things with her boyfriend. She also admitted that she already loves Bruce and she’s thrilled to fix whatever unfinished business they have.


Jasmin was last in line. After admiring her noticeable blooming aura, DJ Leila asked her about her BIG FOUR bets. On her original list were G-ann, Kian and Bodie! Upon hearing this, she was requested to spell out the real deal between her and the showbiz child. Her attraction, she explained, mainly stemmed from the fact that among the guy-HMs, it was Bodie whom she had serious conversations with. The others were always out to tease her.

PBB2 Updates : Balik-Bahay Housemates ask, the card answers

With not much to do, the Balik-Bahay housemates decided to play a simple yet interesting game using playing cards. Each housemate took turns in asking questions involving selected housemates through which a card is assigned to and who ever had the match in terms of card type (heart, diamond, etc.) is considered as the right person that would best answer the question.

Everybody knew it's just a game but they were surprised with some of the results. A boring day in the secret room turned out to be a not-so-boring one at all. I have uploaded 3 videos of their simple game. I was able to record when Zeke, Wendy and Kian asked the questions.

PBB2 Updates : Dionne Evicted and After the 5th Eviction Night video clips

No one is spared during evictions unless the nominee proves to be the people's favorite PBB resident. And on Day 76, the housemates are down to half as Dionne and Giei made their way out of the big yellow house's door!

Knocking on wood three times saves a person from bad luck, more than three will only be futile, Dionne said hours ago. A nomination mainstay herself, the Cebuana model showed what she is made of to her strong flock of supporters every time she finds herself in the 'danger zone'. But after being consistently saved three times, her good luck finally ran out. And just like her superstitious belief, her fourth nomination became her downfall.Bye dionne

Here are some clips I have recently uploaded after the 5th Eviction Night. There were a lot of Mickey and Gee-ann moments after Dionne was evicted. They were talking about Dionne, Pamela, self-esteem and more. I'm sure a lot of Mickey&Gee-ann fans will be delighted now that they're getting closer.

PBB2 Updates : The Gee-ann and Saicy Cheering Squad & the talk about Love and Relationships

Here's a video clip of Gee-ann and Saicy doing some cheer leader steps. Gee-ann was the one teaching Saicy since she's equipped with the cheer leading background. Saicy easily followed the steps that the cheering cheek taught her.

The housemates also had an interesting conversation about Love and Relationships. Since the two mommies are older, they gave more insights through which the younger housemates voiced-out their opinions. They talked about cliche, experiences and listened to what the mommies have to share. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be when it comes to the two new "older" housemates. It's nice to see them sharing their experiences with the younger housemates that may somehow impart lessons even in its most miniscule way.

PBB2 Updates : 5th Nomination Night

Nel and Dionne are both nominees in the recently concluded 5th Nomination Night. Dionne got a total of 12 votes while Nel got 6 votes. It's going to be a tough battle between the two since both are from the south. Dionne is tested when it comes to viewer votes while Nel is a newbie. We just have to vote who we think is deserving to stay.

Gee-ann on the other hand, was saved from the supposed automatic eviction because of medical reasons that somehow hindered her weight loss. She has a hormonal imbalance and the doctor advised her to continue her gym sessions with Mickey in order to maintain if not lose the weight that she gained.

PBB2 Updates : Gee-ann, a Forced Eviction Candidate?

They say that technically, Gee-ann should be automatically evicted for having 3 consecutive violations (4 actually, but kuya lifted the rule last week) with regard to the 5 lbs. rule not unless Big Brother decides to change his mind.

As much as I still want Gee-ann to stay, A rule is a rule. If big brother tries to change and manipulate the situation again, he will lose his credibility. A lot of people may say that the 5 lbs. rule is stupid or that it is absurd (I think so too!) but the fact still remains that it's been the rule ever since they started the weigh-in. Any commotions with regard to it are considered as "after the fact". It would be unfair for the other housemates who tried to maintain their weight so as not to violate the rule.

As a viewer, I like Gee-ann to stay if ever she's up for eviction. But if Big Brother manipulates something, it will surely be an issue of fairness and equality. It just so happens that a lot of people like Gee-ann and I'm pretty sure Gee-ann supporters wouldn't react the same way if the housemate that they really hate is in the same situation. I don't know what Big Brother will do about this so i guess we just have to wait and see if he will let it be or do some magic...

PBB2 Updates : The Gee-ann Interrogation & Bea and Nel talk about relationships

The Gee-ann Interrogation : Single or Taken? That's what some of the housemates were focused on while doing their weekly task. The conversation started when Gee-ann shared to Mickey, Nel, Dionne and Bodie that she already made a "decision" with regard to her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend. When asked if she's already single or still taken, she kept on replying that it was not that important to impart anymore. The housemates tried to interrogate her more and were waiting for her to share her decision that was earlier tackled with Big Bro inside the confession room.

As usual, the camera men were switching the cameras somewhere else so as not to give too much details about Gee-ann's decision probably for "primetime purposes". That's what sucks with the livestream right now. They have the tendency to cut-off the streaming video or divert the cameras elsewhere when issues and interesting topics are discussed. Maybe for manipulation or whatever the reason may be.

On the other side of the garden, Bea and Nel talk about relationships. I noticed that Nel is starting to "like" Bea again which, I find very odd. Most if not all of the girl housemates including Tina from Slovenia have been his crush. Sino ba talaga gusto mo Nely?

Here are two video clips of the housemates doing their summerienda task for a cause. It's a fund raising activity to help a public school renovation by means of selling our favorite filipino "meriendas" like halo-halo, bananaQ, kamoteQ, Sago, Gulaman and the like. All proceeds will be kept in a huge piggy bank located in front of the PBB house. People can also donate books and other school supplies which will all be kept in a huge backpack.

Gee-ann confronted Dionne calmly and asked her what's bothering her. Majority of the housemates noticed that she has changed and became a little aloof.

PBB2 Updates : Teletubbies in the house? (a new task to replace the glasses)

From PBB website: Big Brother sends a letter to the HMs telling them how he's aware that out of the 14 glasses they have in his house, only one is left to date! He extends his generosity though by giving them a new set with the condition that they have to wear the pair of glasses, tied with a thick yellow rubber band, in specific places in their head! They have to wear these at all times as a lesson on being good stewards on all Kuya's belongings. Welcoming this new task is another round of PBB theme and Araw Natin 'to grooving moments.

PBB2 Updates : Force Eviction for Maricris

Good News (I guess) for everyone. Maricris left the PBB house already. Although stupid 24/7 livestream did not show the actual eviction, I've recorded a number of pre and post-eviction video clips. The livestream should be called 23/7 instead of 24/7 because of what they're doing.

There's no official reason why she was given the force eviction yet. The only thing I can think of is the time when Maricris said "MASASAKSAK KO SI BEA". The same case happened to a slovenian housemate when he imposed that the other housemate should stab big brother.

PBB2 Updates : The Bea-Maricris Conflict Goes On and the Aftermath

And the conflict goes on. Bea and Maricris started it all in a very calm conversation and what the housemates expected to be a peaceful reconciliation turned out to be a big fiasco. At last, Bea fought and gave Maricris a dose of her own medicine. This time I'm biased because I know (as i've seen) that something's wrong (understatement) with Maricris.

Issues were not yet resolved and only time would tell when things are going to be okay between them. Here are some video clips of the said incidents and the aftermath as well.

PBB2 Updates : Robert answers the 12th call and the Bea-Maricris conflict

Poor robert. After a while, the Big Red Phone rang again and Robert was the one who answered the 12th call which constitutes shaving one of his eyebrows. Big Brother delivered the Bad News and Robert was a bit worried on what he'd look like.


During lunch time, tension between Maricris and Bea took place. It all started when Bea asked Bodie to pass on the rice bowl and Maricris reacted and questioned why Bea would ask Bodie when in fact, she's the one who's near the bowl. Voices were raised and what started as a joke became a big conflict. Just watch the videos to understand more.

PBB2 Updates : Goodbye Tina

Tina left the Pinoy Big Brother house this morning. It was bittersweet for everybody. They all felt a mixture of joy because Bruce will be coming home and sadness since they've been close to Tina even on her short stint in the PBB house. PBB2 Updates : Presentation Preparations and Tina's Lunch Surprise

It's a very tedious Tuesday for the PBB2 housemates and Tina as well. They are busy planning and organizing for their presentations and are working on the props too. There are different segments of presentations and the housemates are brainstorming on each segment. Mickey, Dionne and Wendy take turns in organizing to make sure that everything will turn out the way they want it to be.

In one of the segments, Tina will act as the leader of a different tribe and the PBB2 housemates will portray another tribe. There will be a play-like performances, interpretative dances and the like. Tina was very participative in the rehearsals and it seems like she's "at home".

After the preparations, Tina was asked to go to the confession room. Little did she know, Kuya had prepared a surprise lunch for her as orchestrated by the HMs. After the PBB Fear Factor and Balut scare she had last night, Kuya provided her with some of her faves in the PBB house : Fresh Buko Juice, Ripe Mangoes and some "Kakanin". When she went out of the confession room, the HMs surprised her with the "coconut song" by the Smokey Mountain and had lunch.

PBB2 Updates : HMs get to know Tina more and Tina's First Lunch in the PBB House

Tina's starting to bond with the PBB2 housemates already. The HMs take turns talking with tina to get to know her better. The housemates also had their weekly weigh-in routine and surprisingly, nobody gained or reach the 5 lbs. limit. Tina was asked to weigh-in too but when asked on how much she weighed when she first entered the BB Slovenia house, she didn't know.

Tina also had her first lunch in the PBB2 house. She was just eating fruits (pineapple, tangerine and apple). She tried pineapple with iodized salt as instructed by Mickey. She tried the spaghetti but she didn't like it because it was too sweet. I'm really not surprised because it's only in the Philippines where we can find "sweet spaghetti" hehe.



After Lunch, Tina, Wendy, Robert and Nel gathered outside to have their Yosi Break bonding. *wink* I've uploaded some video clips for these happenings, just click on the title to view it.

PBB2 Updates : Bruce and Tina Livestream Video Clips

Two different countries. Two different cultures. Two housemates exchanged lives as they venture into the much-awaited historical happening on the Philippine television! The housemates' 55th day inside the house explodes with a groundbreaking event as the first Big Brother Swap between the Philippines and Slovenia begins!




I uploaded video clips of Tina's first night at the PBB house where she got to know the housemates a little more and some other clips of the housemates. I also provide a link for Bruce Quebral's conversation with the Slovenian housemates as they welcome them.

PBB2 Updates : Wake-Up Call, Wendy cries alone and more of Robert and Saicy

I just uploaded 4 new PBB2 LS video clips. The 1st one was that of the very unusual wake-up call that sounded as if there's a sword fight. The 2nd one is a random clip of the HMs conversation in the living area, majority of the convo is between Robert and Saicy.

The 3rd one is a clip of Wendy crying alone in the prayer room after going inside the confession room. It seems that she really misses Bruce. The 4th one is a clip of again, Robert and Saicy convo while doing some kitchen choirs after lunch. Just click on the titles to view the videos.

PBB2 Updates :The Mystery of the Secret Secret Crush Caper

Recently, the boys were called into the confession room. When they emerged later Wendy asked them what it was all about, and they replied that Big Brother was only checking up on their chores. She then replied: “Secret task yan eh… sana kausapin naman kami ni Kuya.” Little did she know that she would be right in more ways than one!



It was Mickey in particular who was given a secret task, courtesy of Globe. The boys were called in and Mickey was handed a cellphone, and had to choose a ‘secret crush’. The crush would then be given a cellphone as well, so Mickey can text her. The boys’ duty was to keep Mickey’s secret in any way possible!



So Mickey went into the boys’ room, and sent the first message. Wendy was shocked to see this, for she was called into the confession room only to be handed a cellphone. She quickly suspected that it was one of the boys, and in fact couldn’t help herself but be paranoid of all the boys! Her first suspect was Nel, who simply shrugged it off; she also thought of Bruce, who just laughed at her; and she settled on the unwitting Bodie. The other girls gave their suggestions as well… but mostly laughed at her!


But she kept a close eye on Mickey, who has a penchant for performing well during secret tasks. And he sure lived up to his ‘good actor’ image; he was in fact the loudest teaser among the others, so he wouldn’t look suspicious. Wendy, on the other hand, decided not to leave the sofa she’s lying on (and even pretend to be asleep) so she can solve the case of the secret crush! Will she find out, or will the boys continue to successfully hide the identity of the secret crush? Has PBB finally turned into an episode of CSI? Time to get your Sherlock Holmes on!
